The Habs

the montreal Canadiens are perhaps the most talented team is the NHL. They are faster and more graceful than any other playoff team. Yet they still struggle against teams they are much better than (Bruins, Flyers a combined 16-0 against them in the regular season). This brings me to believe the Habs lack heart. Players such as Kovalev, Higgins and Plekanec have not steped their games up, they arent playing bad just not what i expect in the playoffs. These Younger players like the Kostysyns and Lapierre have worked their buts off while Higgins misses open nets and Michael Ryser sits on the bench. This lack of heart among the Assistant captains (Kovalev, Higgins, and Markov not Koivu as Koivu is all heart) is what IMO the reason we are not winning.

The next issue is Goaltending. Carey Price is amazing. He is the future of the Habs and maybe the best goalie prospect of all time. These playoffs he has not been consistant, he was amazing in 4 games against the bruins and he was less than stellar the other 3. Last night he was absolutely disgusting. That shorthanded goal was dispicable and even the other two were weak. We really need for him to show up tommorow night because when he is on his game we win plain and simple. I for one think it would be a shame if Halak started, not be cause Price has sucked, but because Price needs his confidence up and he is the reason we have made it this far to doubt him now is exactly what he doesnt need it could ruin him. See. Raycroft for the leafs (amazing now he sucks). We need to Start Carey and give him some defense and get the early lead which is key.

By the way next year gives me the shivers especially if we could lure a sniper to replace Ryder that could score 30 goals a season.

Go Habs, in no time they will have me singing OLE OLE and P.S if we make it o the finals me and my buds are driving up to Montreal to party and watch the games (In a bar because i would have to sell my kidneys to get tickets) and hopefully we could join in the rioting when they win.

The Habs

The Habs should be happy the refs gave them a goal and called a crap penalty on Richards in game 1.  Not to mention the Hatcher boarding that was in no way a 5 minute major that completely shifted momentum and gave the Habs 2 goals

You make me laugh u know absolutely nothing. A knee to Knee hit may not look bad but accounts for many injuries. They teach you to avoid it when u first start hockey. Therefore if u hit someone knee to knee you deserve a penalty. Kovalev Dangled Richards and because Richards had no position he collided knee to knee (Which i may add is extremely painful. Ask Michael Peca last year) so it was a great call.

And Hatcher Took Bouilloin into the boards from behind which (whatever hockey you play from minor to pro) is a major penalty and if it happens n the third it is a game misconduct. Also Bouillon was manly despite the Gash in his head and Umberger stayed down like a little girl (What else would i expect from a Philly player.

And don't give me this hitting the post bull like that's bad luck.  It means they missed their shots.  They didn't aim for the post, they aimed for the net, so they missed their target.

It is bad luck. The Habs hit the post a ton and at least half were the inside of the post which is 50-50 if it is going in or kick out and convenintly all kicked out. So i guess u think Richards shot perfectly when it hit Price glove and he droped it in.

f the Flyers lose by a goal tonight and hit 7 posts during the game I will not come in and say that's bad luck we hit a few posts and should have won, it's as simple as they missed their shot.

Its not only the posts. We have outshot u 2-1 in the last two games, also we dominated play. If it wasnt for the fluke goals we'd be up 3-0

but not say anything about the Richards shoulder with a minute left in the game?????  A minute left in the game and replay shows it's not a penalty but that's fair?  But then the replay that shows to many men shouldn't be called because it's a playoff game and killed their momentum?

Well first off Richards went knee to knee which is a penalty u stupid americans dont know sh1t about hockey so u dont realise this. And the 6th man was off the ice early enough. So it shouldnt have been a penalty.
